Were you able to visit the temple at all, before that portal closed? The lab there had manuals for all the different technology of our worlds. That's the only reason I was able to know anything about electrical power, and even then, some of this is so delicate. That's the appeal of any sort of technology or machinery, I think. The basic structure of a rifle is fairly consistent, it's just a collection of parts. But the particular details with how each one is designed means that a Mosin Nagant and a Type 38's form and function are fairly different. And working out the difference is fun.
