Guy's going to try to keep his tall frame as out of the way as possible by leaning up against the door and keeping his arms crossed in front of him, looking down at Asch's bloody face with a wisp of exasperation.]
So who did you piss off for that little number, Majima or that Beau girl?
[He hasn't bothered to tread near the edges of the property - the mist just reminds him too much of the clouds at the ends of the stairwells in the temple, leading to nowhere, pointless and possibly dangerous. But it's late in the afternoon on Wednesday that his curiosity gets the better of him, slipping down to the cabin with the devilish face painted on the door.
He wasn't sure what company to expect, if any. He sees the jail first, a clenching in his gut that just digs at the feeling that, no, this isn't just going to be the relaxing passage of time that their hosts have been insisting. But he sees that flare of red hair next and stays frozen in the doorway.]
Asch?
[Weird place to be hanging out. Maybe it's just because it was quiet.]
[dressed in his emblematic shorts, black t-shirt, and his hair tied up in a loose ponytail with the scrunchie, asch looks more like a normal teenager than guy has probably ever seen him.
he is also eating an off-brand cheez crunchy. he looks up from... well, it looks like the rules to a boardgame? and frowns.]
Now you do.
[he is absolutely not moving. this is his spot. he has no weird prison trauma.]
[Guy's got this familiar piece sans the jacket. To see Asch, of all people, dressed casually... Guy would be lying if it didn't throw him off a little. Had he ever seen this kid outside his normal uniform?
He sighs, not letting go of the door handle while his other hand rests on his hip. The Jewel's unmistakable hilt rests right past his wrist.]
He'll look instantly relieved and also kind of uncomfortable because haha it's raining and he's been running around in it. But won't bother to leave the doorway this time.]
Good... good, you're still here. [That gives him a second to catch his breath. Did.... he run all the way over here? Yeah. Fun.]
The voices over the announcement. Did any of them sound familiar?
Well, he can take a guess at what's going to be on the screen if Asch is the one who's yeeting off into the woods. Great job being subtle, man.
Asch will get some alone time because this trial is kinda long, but OFC he's going to look for Asch afterward. Isolation cabin first, then if not that, his actual cabin.]
he's in the snabin, though. he frowns at the door at the sound of footsteps, and if Guy knocks, simply says:]
Come in.
[he's sitting on his lower bunk, towel around his shoulders. his hair is still floppy from the rain, hanging in front of his eyes. every few moment, he pushes it away, but it keeps amusingly nyooming back.]
By the time Asch sees Guy again after investigations are over, that dark cloud over his face has dissipated, only tension and silence remaining as he sifts through the kitchen, half cleaning mindlessly and half watching over a pot of tea. His gloves are shoved into one of his pockets, showing off the raw skin on his knuckles.
He'll spot Asch, just out of his peripheral. But he'll turn back to what he was doing, rather than talking directly to him.]
[He's out sitting cross-legged on the dock. There's a slight turn of the head when he hears the steady trod of footsteps, but the messy sound of a scabbard being tossed aside narrows it down well enough.
His smile is not even close to reaching his eyes.]
You here to rub more fun facts in my face, or should I get out of your way?
Is that what you said to the replica when he called you out on your murder in front of everyone?
What did you say to him? Did he know the whole time? I've been wondering if you made him hold it in, or figure it out himself. Did he know you'd betrayed his trust from the start, or did you let him find out gradually?
[this is simultaneously the funniest and most horrifying thing that's ever happened
Once he's PRETTY DAMN SURE zenitsu and asch aren't about to go off and do the nasty somewhere upon leaving the hot springs, Guy will leave them alone for. A bit. But once it's late enough, he's eventually coming to try and find Asch without the blonde boy stapled to his hip
[woah hello you can't just rush the marital bed, that's unseemly
he is alone, he is walking back to his cabin! maybe he just dropped zenitsu off like a proper gentleman? who can say. in any case, he's on his way back when he sees Guy beelining for him.]
[Guy had raided the clothing store for an actual decent jacket, so now that he is not going to die of hypothermia, he's out to take a nice long walk and look for a redheaded boy. He doesn't expect a lot. He knows a handful of others will probably nab his attention first.
But at the very least, he should figure out where Asch is... and whether he even wants to be spoken to or not.
Snabin first, then the isolation cabin, then to the kitchen. If he's not in those three, then Guy will have to start thinking outside the box a little more.]
WEEK ZERO - FRIDAY
now that the door's locked
Guy's going to try to keep his tall frame as out of the way as possible by leaning up against the door and keeping his arms crossed in front of him, looking down at Asch's bloody face with a wisp of exasperation.]

he walks down the walk heavy-footed on purpose, throwing his sword on the bank before he does. he is full of pudding and purpose.
